ARTIST NOTES: Capture the radiance of the magnificent Mekennah beneath the midnight moon.
‘Midnight Bodyscape’ is another in the series of ‘bodyscapes’ that employ the beauty and form of the human body as landscape. In ‘Midnight Bodyscape’, Mekennah’s mercurial presence shines more magnificent than the luminescent full moon above in a playful and wistful glimpse of divine feminine beauty.
‘Midnight Bodyscape’ was created using a range of graphite pencils and charcoal on artist quality acid-free drawing cartridge, and is fixed with fixative spray to hold the graphite. The drawing itself is 30cm x 30cm, and comes complete in a larger 34.5cm x 34.5cm recessed frame to ensure this beautiful piece makes a statement in any room.
